THESE GUIDELINES ARE SPECIFICALLY FOR NON-COMMERCIAL PROJECTS/CLIENTS ONLY. FOR COMMERCIAL PROJECTS, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT [email protected]The Artist (Kirstie Shanks/VixxDraws) has full and complete rights to all artwork completed and during its stages, This includes usage for portfolio, examples, for social media, and for art advertising. Character ownership remains with the Client(s). Work is subject to online streaming. If preferred to keep private, please state in order.Clients who share the completed product to their online collections or social media profiles must credit the original artist as VixxDraws/Kirstie Shanks. This includes profile pictures or backdrops for a site.The Client may also make prints for their own personal use. If the Client wishes to make prints to sell or other merchandise to profit from, it must be discussed and approved by the Artist with a commercial license agreement made.A 50%, non-refundable deposit is due upfront. The Artist will not begin the commission without payment. The Artist will send the client an invoice via Paypal or Wave for all payments. Please be sure to include your email address for this purpose.The Artist will email the Client a process photo of each phase to submit for approval and revisions by the Client. Client(s) are asked to reply within a reasonable amount of time so that the commission can be finished at the set due date. The phases are as follows:Rough Sketch Idea(s): Clients are encouraged to list any revision(s) that they feel is necessary for this stage. Changes in pose, expression, body or face type/shape, outfit, accessories, etc.Refined Sketch: Clients are still encouraged to request revisions, but be aware that some larger revisions (such as major changes in pose) may not be able to be completed.Lineart: Clients may still request revisions, but those revisions are now limited to small-scale details. Decision on if the revision is able to be fulfilled without additional charge will be left to the Artist.Base Colour: Clients may request changes only to base colours. After this stage, no more revisions will be made without an additional charge.
Finalization: Clients will receive a high-resolution .jpg and .png of the final product via email.Additional fees will be charged to the Clients for any revisions made after the Base Color phase and for all revisions after the sketch stage that reflect a new direction for the assignment or new conceptual input.Cancellation (“kill”) fees are due based on the amount of work completed. If the project was in the 'Base Colour' stage, 75% of the invoice total must be paid. If the artist is past the 'Base Colour' Stage at the time of cancellation, 100% of the invoice total must be paid.Each phase will be shown via e-mail or preferred social media platform.The Client will receive their finished product with signature. They do not have permission to remove this. The signature must remain on the illustration, especially for sharing through social media and online sites. This does not apply to commercial use or for purposes of having character art for a twitch stream, alternate arrangements will be made for those circumstances.
The artist has every right to decline/refuse a commission they do not see fit.Materials Used: Clip Studio Paint, XP Pen Artist 15.6 tablet
Commissions are size specified at 300 ppi (for printing purposes) and delivered at 3000px x 3000px canvas (10” x 10”)PAYING THE INVOICE INDICATES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS. PLEASE CONTACT THE ARTIST IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS.
